November 6th, 2017 – The IT experts at Sysoft Computer Consultants are pleased to announce that the fundraising event CRYSTAL, hosted by Reach for the Rainbow, will be held this year at the Royal Ontario Museum. Reach for the Rainbow has been a Sysoft Computer Consultants client for over a decade and the Sysoft team is committed to supporting Reach for the Rainbow in all their community efforts.
Reach for the Rainbow will host CRYSTAL on Saturday, November 11th from 7:00 pm to 1:00 am at the Royal Ontario Museum. After 30 years, Reach for the Rainbow’s elegant fundraiser has evolved into another level of classic chic. There will be a cocktail reception, gourmet food stations, elegant sit-down dinner, premium wine, and an online preview of live & silent auction items.
Attendees will also have access to the CRYSTAL Club After-Hours Party from 10:00 pm to 1:00 am. The CRYSTAL Club features gourmet food stations with late night snacks, after-hours drinks, live entertainment with DJ Lynz, and exciting giveaways!
Since 1983, Reach for the Rainbow, a non-profit organization, has pioneered the integration of children and youth with disabilities into the mainstream of society through overnight, day and community recreation programs throughout Ontario. Their programs provide environments of inclusion for kids and youth while offering much-needed respite for parents.
Reach for the Rainbow is an umbrella organization for all disabilities and works in partnership with other disability-related charities. We are proud to support Reach for the Rainbow and their programs that:
- Provide a model for effective integration
- Provide 1 on 1 support counselors, mutually supervised and trained by Reach for the Rainbow and partner camps
- Teach typical children and youth the values of patience, acceptance, and understanding
- Provide programs that are delivering safety, supervision, and care
- Provide respite to the parents and families of children with disabilities
- Bring friendship and joy to our community of participating children
Working with a variety of Partners in Integration throughout the province of Ontario, Reach for the Rainbow provides integrated recreation, respite, and outreach opportunities designed to engage the hearts and minds of every individual. Their programs encourage environments for typical children and individuals to live, play, work, and inspire themselves alongside children and youth with disabilities, creating transformative experiences of belonging. What makes Reach for the Rainbow particularly unique is the fact that they started out as, and remain today, an umbrella for all disabilities – both developmental and physical.
