Sysoft Computer Consulting – New Website
October 6th, 2010
Well our new website has been long overdue. The last time there was an update to Sysoft Computer Consulting website was 2002! Truth be told I never cared much for the design, but it suited the purpose at the time. Lisa spent a lot of time getting me to talk about what I like and don’t like in websites and then turning that into a framework that she could use to work with the designers. We chose CMS Web Solutions (www.cmswebsolutions.com) to build our website out of four bidding vendors. They were not the cheapest proposal (nor the most expensive), but what we liked was their proposal clearly indicated that they understood what we were asking for and outlined the roles and responsibilities of both Sysoft and CMS. Being a consultant for a long time I understand the value of setting the expectation and responsibilities up front. In a technical engagement, nobody likes surprises. The end result, you’re looking at it! Lisa (Sysoft) and the CMS Team worked tirelessly to make this happen… I really like it and I hope you do too.
In the coming weeks I hope to post a bunch of scripts on the site and keep posting useful information in this blog relating to Network and Internet Security, Cloud Computing, Remote Access Networking and more.. I hope to convince my team to also contribute to the blog with stories, tips and tricks to keep IT and your computer services working.
